Fudgy Vegan Brownies
There's no beans or vegetables hidden in these vegan brownies. They're just classic, fudgy, brownies full of chocolate flavor!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Optional
- 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9”x13” baking pan and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Pour in the water, oil, and vanilla and stir until incorporated. If using chocolate chips, stir these in now.

Transfer the batter to the greased baking pan, using a spatula to spread evenly.

Bake for about 30 minutes, until top becomes matte. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.

Once cooled, slice brownies into 24 squares. Serve immediately or cover and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Recipe Notes
- These brownies can be wrapped in aluminum foil and frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature in a single layer before serving.
